How to use Text2Event on Android

Quick Start Guide

Text2Event makes it easy to create calendar events on Android devices. Follow these simple steps:

1. Open Text2Event

• Visit text2event.com in your Android Chrome browser
• Chrome will prompt you to install Text2Event as an application. Install it!
• If there is no prompt then open Menu->Add to Home screen

2. Share text with Text2Event app

• In any app (email, messages, browser, etc.), select text containing event information
• Tap Share from the context menu
• Choose Text2Event from the share options
• Example text: "Team meeting tomorrow at 2 PM with 30 minute reminder"

3. Calendar file is generated automatically

• Text2Event processes the shared text automatically
• The calendar file is generated and downloaded instantly
• No need to tap any buttons - it happens automatically!

4. Add to Your Calendar

• Open the downloaded .ics file from your Downloads folder
• Your calendar app will open and prompt you to add the event
• Review the event details and save
