1. Service Description

text2event.com converts natural language descriptions into ICS calendar files using artificial intelligence (AI). The service is available in a free tier and a paid Pro subscription.

2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

You are solely responsible for:

• Verifying all generated calendar entries before use
• Any consequences resulting from incorrect or inaccurate calendar events
• Missed appointments or scheduling errors

We are not liable for:

• Errors in AI-generated calendar files
• Missed appointments or events
• Any damages resulting from use of generated files

3. Registered Accounts

By creating an account, you agree that the service will collect and store your email address, name, and subscription status linked to your account. Authentication is handled by Clerk; by registering you also agree to Clerk's terms of service. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting info@text2event.com.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Certain features require a paid Pro subscription, billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you select.

Payments are processed securely by Paddle, our authorised reseller and merchant of record. By purchasing a subscription you also agree to Paddle's terms of service.

Subscription fees are shown on the Pricing page and may change with reasonable notice. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting info@text2event.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain Pro access until then.

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. After 7 days, subscription fees are non-refundable.

6. Data Processing

• Your input text is forwarded to Anthropic's Claude API for processing
• We do not store your input data or generated calendar files

7. Service Availability

We provide the service "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

8. User Obligations

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Abuse or attempt to disrupt the service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
